CitizenshipNauru
Citizenship that funds climate resilience in the Pacific
Nauru launched its investor citizenship programme in 2024, unveiling it at the COP 29 climate summit in Baku. The scheme is distinctive for tying nationality to a clear purpose: contributions flow into a Treasury Fund dedicated to the island nation's economic and climate resilience.
For investors, the appeal lies in competitive pricing, modest dependent costs, and a fully remote process with no residency or visit obligation. Decisions are generally reached within three to four months, and the resulting passport carries a ten-year validity with dual citizenship fully permitted.
CBIProgram handles each Nauru file from pre-screening through to passport issuance, preparing the statutory forms, coordinating the required interviews for older applicants, and liaising with the authorities so that funds and approvals are sequenced correctly.
